Congratulations! As most poker pros will tell you being aggressive is one of the most important attributes a winning poker player......as long as it's controlled aggression.

Aggressive- According to our test your style is listed as "Aggressive". The definition of aggressive is the number of times a player bets or raises as opposed to checking or calling.

ADVANTAGES: One of the biggest advantages of playing aggressive is that once you have established the "reputation" as an aggressive player other players will lay down weak or marginal hands if they fear that you will play back at them. The other advantage is that due to you making more or larger bets you will pick up larger pots when players do challenge you. Your style will often keep players confused and cause them to make bad plays.

Disadvantages: One of the biggest elements is that you must be willing to put in most or all of your money at any given time. You must also have the courage to continue to play aggressively throughout the hand. The worst play you can make is to be aggressive pre-flop or on the flop and then crawl under a rock for the turn and river. This can leave you open to many unforeseen obstacles that may arise. Obstacles such as other aggressive players trying to "out money" you or outplay you. You are also more susceptible to check-raising and other forms of slow playing.

A Final Word: There are times you need to be aggressive and there are times you need to leave that trick in the bag. Spend time analyzing tables and players on a case by case basis to determine when and how much aggression to use. Remember if you start to out being aggressive you have to follow it through. Think of it as a bar fight- you   can't walk up to someone punch them in the nose and then say " I quit I was only pretending to want to fight".

Other Games: There are other games that might fit your style. If you are also a semi-loose to loose player you will probably do very well in short-handed (6 handed) games, even short-handed limit games will favor your style. This is largely in part to the fact that blinds fly around those games and you will typically play about 55%-65% of your hands.
